Specialist for Sensor Fusion and Automatic Data Analysis
Knowtion is specialized in sensor fusion and automatic data analysis. The company is based in Karlsruhe, was founded in 2011, and develops algorithms and software tools for applications, where heterogeneous data needs to be processed, not directly measurable quantities need to be determined, and behavior patterns must be predicted.
Our highly qualified team members have been active for more than eight years in the research and develop- ment of algorithms for sensor fusion and automatic data analysis, and have successfully used them in a variety of client projects. The long-standing expertise and academic excellence allows Knowtion to develop customized solutions in terms of algorithms and software tools to provide to its customers in a very short time.
The origin of Knowtion lies at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). There, the founders and CEOs Frederik Beutler, Vesa Klumpp, and Felix Sawo intensively worked in the field of sensor fusion and automatic data analysis as part of their PhD theses and research projects. The growing partnership with the KIT ensures the early adoption of the latest methods, concepts, and technologies in this field. The algorithms and software tools are used for processing heterogeneous data, the determination of not directly measurable quantities, the prediction of future behavior as well as the detection of anomalies and outliers.
