About This Position

We are looking for experienced Senior Software Developers (m/f/d) with extensive expertise in defining and implementing mathematically sophisticated algorithms for sensor fusion and automated data analysis in safety-critical applications, along with knowledge in the field of machine learning / AI methods.

Your Responsibilities

  • Technical leadership and execution of the analysis and evaluation of new technology approaches for current IoT / Industry 4.0 challenges
  • Responsibility for specifying software requirements and the associated tests
  • Development and implementation of sophisticated data fusion and filtering algorithms in our customers’ systems
  • Creation of mathematical models for complex processes
  • Development of the software from functional prototypes through to the product
  • Implementation of sophisticated algorithms in real-time systems
  • Adapting the software for embedded devices or cloud solutions
  • Delivery of safety-critical applications for a range of customer markets

About You

  • Successfully completed degree in Computer Science (university / university of applied sciences) or a comparable qualification (M.Sc. or PhD)
  • Several years of professional experience (>10 years) in software development (focus on C++ and/or Java) and strong Python skills
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Jira, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, etc.) and best practices
  • Structured, solution-oriented way of working, strong analytical skills, and ability to work well in a team
  • Experience with resource-efficient programming and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Experience in developing safety-critical applications is an advantage
  • Experience applying agile development processes such as Scrum is an advantage
  • Reliability and a strong focus on quality
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in German and English
